out of the vault #1___Unearthed

In this little category i’ll post from time to time some old content from former trips to nice places, stories, that need to be told again or just some nice little pieces of life. The start is done by ‘Unearthed’, a bouldering flic from Colac Bay, New Zealand.

The wind was rough and the birds were flying low over the white foaming sea. We were walking through empty, wide open farmland across a sustained chain of hills. Below us is the sea and the mystic yellow and green glowing rock at the beach, often already awashed by the oncoming tide. We are at Colac Bay, at the most southern tip of Aotearoa. Further south is only the Antarctica. The world surrounding us seems to be a different one, unreal, not from this world, as if here are other rules existing, which are not having any meaning in other parts of the world.
