It seems like that i with my work on the Baobab film am not the only one right now who is in the final mixing of stuff. The Album leaf, one of my all time favorite bands is in Iceland right now to mix their new album, which will be out in fall this year. The Album Leaf covers emotion with simple but stunning soundscapes, the right music when you are out in the wild somewhere or just in the mood for some chillin’. For a long time Jimmy Lafalle, the mastermind of the Album Leaf, recorded every instrument on is own and was only on tours playing with a band. For this album for the first time the recorded together as a band, so it will be interesting, how that is effecting the pace and style of the music.
