When was the last time you were feeling the magic of a small child in the wonderworld of a circus? For me that has been quite some time ago, maybe the last time when i was ten. More or less by accident the last days i stumbled into some events that had exactly this magic. The first one was the mute film festival in Bonn. Bonn has a quite beautiful university and the mainbuilding has a big inner quart, they used to create the perfect place for the summer mute film festival. The whole thing was for free what made half of the city coming to see a crazily funny and entertaining comedy with some of the best slapstick stunts i’ve seen so far. Just great!
The second event was the Cirque Buffon, in Cologne right now. A friend of mine was doing the light in the circus, what made me even think about going there. The Cirque was less a circus with animals and so on than more something between classic theater, artistic performances and a great clown. Maybe some of you might know the Cirque d’ solail. Magic wonderworlds, created in a intimate atmospere. Wonderful hours! If you would like to see it live and you are dropping by in Cologne the next two weeks, it’s worth it for sure.
