A short take from yesterdays Cologne marathon and at the same time a attempt to get used to shooting film with a DSLR. I love the look and the pretty narrow depth of field that is possible with this type of camera. A problem for the way i normally shoot, reportage style, mostly with no tripod, will be that it fast gets pretty wobbly. I have to get used to that i think and also improve on the way how to shoot that kinda stuff with the cam. But the look makes a little bit more action and carrying a tripod worth, i guess. In a month i’ll go back to Rwanda and hopefully till then will have learned a lot on how to shoot film with the camera to give the whole reportages which are coming up a great cineastic feel.
