VII MAGAZINE

In the last days i stumbled across two new online magazines that are for sure both worth a look. The first one is the VII magazine, what (as you can guess by it’s name) brings together the visual power of the members of VII the famous agency with photojournalism icons like James Nachtwey. It seems like that VII is also searching for different ways to share their stories with the audience, also bringing a combination of video and photography in some of the stories. I know, it might seem a bit odd that i always direct you to the stories about Congo, but this one is never to be forgotten. A interesting take is also the film ‘Obama’s burden’ by Christopher Morris. INSIDE MAGAZINE

The INSIDE magazine comes to you online, but is also available as a print magazine what comes to you for FREE, you only have to pay the postage. The first issue is out now and talks about poverty with different essay, photography and also cartoons. The photostories are all in b/w, pretty dark feel, but some stunning photography and stories from Congo to Haiti. Seems like that has to be in the rack in todays time.
