As i’m shooting the album release party for Von Dü today and copyright is an important issue they are talking about, i thought i share this film with you, that is worth a look. Good copy, bad copy’ is a documentary about the current state of copyright and the changing environment. File-sharing, internet, Nollywood or the music scene in Brazil. The film features interviews with different people, from the people behind the Pirate Bay to DJ Danger Mouse or Girltalk and the inventors of Creative Commons or film producers in Nigeria. Today copyright is changing on the fly with social media, what brought a fully new culture of sharing content, what brings many issues, but also possibilities for some professions like musicians or photographers.
