the ugly truth

In a time where media is sending out new content 24/7, sometimes it feels like as if there is not much left what could shock or get us out of daily routines. This story is different. Photojournalist Stephen Dupont was out in Afghanistan with a group of afghanian soldiers when they got right into a suicide bombing. This film shows not only really direct the minutes after and what it means, but it also is a very personal emotional account of a photographer, starting to doubt what he is doing, but working on. I don’t wanna leave you with many words. After Collateral Murder just weeks ago, this is a second glimpse into what war actually could mean. Be careful, this is quite graphic content.
