some updates
It has been a bit calm here in the blog for the last weeks and it seems it will also be in the near future. The main reason are heaps of assignments and projects, all happening right now, in the near future or are just done. So I thought I give you a short update, what is happening here and share with you two clips we produced on the last assignments I had here in Germany where I headed last week.
First was a trailer for the e-motion conference happening in November as part of the project T-City by Deutsche Telekom, the biggest company for telecommunication in Germany. We also plan to edit three short videos to give a deeper impression of the interviews. The concept was simple. We interviewed people that work or live in a actively changing enviroment giving an impression on how we will live and work in the future.
The second assignment was a fun one for the European Cultural Capital 2010 here in Germany, covering the project ‘Temporary City at particular places’ what happened to be in Duisburg. After the actual project was cancelled after the disaster of the Loveparade some months ago, it happend to be a demonstration for building culture.
Now I’m packing my bags again to head for the airport, flying to Hungary for a week for a wonderful assignment that will result not only in a video, pictures, but also in an experiment to develop a full interactive website on the fly. Pretty psyched about that as it is a try to show that interactive multimedia is not only possible in big flash productions. Watch this spot in the next days for more details on that with behind the scenes materials and some tips and tricks we wanna record as well.
After that project I will head back to Germany for a few more days for another assignment and a lecture about traveling off the beaten track at the big GlobeWelt, a festival with around 40 lectures, organized by the main sponsor of the With our own eyes project, Globetrotter. And after that blast I’m more than happy to head back home to Copenhagen at least for some weeks…
